Mason is Two!

This sweet boy turned two last month. Can you even believe that this was him not too long ago?

Here are his last-day-as-a-one pictures. They make me happy. I dare you to look at them and not smile.

This year, Mason and his buddy Max had a joint birthday party. These two were born one week apart and have known each other ever since. And now Max's mom is expecting a baby girl a few months after ours comes--more best friends!

The birthday theme was airplanes, and Max's family did a great job with the plane-themed games and decorations. I did the cake and food.

The boys and their mamas:

Mason, you came into our lives a tiny little guy and filled our family with joy. You are funny, smart, talkative, and delightful. You sing from the minute you wake up, you dance, you talk all the time, you make jokes, you give sweet snuggles and blow kisses. And then you wrestle with your brothers, get into everything, and unscrew the lightbulbs from the Christmas tree. You keep us hopping and laughing. We love you so much Mason and we can't wait to see what God has in store for you!

I love how this guy runs.

We celebrated our tenth anniversary this year. He brought me daisies. My favorite.

AWANA Grand Prix. Our cars were terrible. But the kids had fun.

CC field trip to a farm.

Post-naptime snuggles are THE BEST.

Iain loves to read.

This year's Octoberfest: a minute man, George Washington, a mermaid, and a bumblebee.

Cory at CC, teaching his class how to draw something. Can't remember what.

This year has been a hard one in a lot of ways. Thankful that it's drawing to a close and with the gift of a very special little one on the way to end it on a high note.
