It's a Boy!!!

Iain Mark (first name pronounced Ian) was born Thursday morning, September 14 at 6:00 am! He weighed 8 lbs 12 oz and is a very long 23 inches. He is doing very well and we're so thankful for all your prayers. This is just a quick announcement - I'll write more later. He is a beautiful baby (I'm sure you'll all agree), and we're very glad to have him here. :)

p.s. We're investigating the "bubble" still and will learn more about it early next week.

Congratulations! He's beautiful! And his name is beautiful, too. It almost looks like he's smiling in that last photo.

Enjoy every moment with him. And sometime when he's asleep, write details for us, so that we can enjoy him with you. :-)

"Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from Him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth."

We rejoice with you in the arrival of this arrow and will be praying for you as you begin the journey of parenthood with its responsibility of carefully launching precious arrows.

He is beautiful! Much love....

I am so thankful for a safe arrival for Iain. I have his picture up by my desk at work and I feel like an "auntie"! You all will continue to be in my prayers. I can't imagine what it must be like to love someone as much as you must love him.
(I am honored and humbled to be the second "Julie M." to post my congratulations!)

That's terrific! Congratulations! Sorry I didn't comment sooner, life has been hectic.

So glad to hear that he's happy and healthy and that his mom is doing well.

So happy for both of you. I'll be praying.

Congratulations!!!!!!!!! He's adorable and absolutely beautiful (yeah, I know all babies are, but he's really exceptionally perfect!). Well I'm down the road from you right now, but I know you probably have tons of people visiting and you're probably tired, so when you feel up to it lets make plans to do lunch or something. If you don't have my current number, my mom does an she lives pretty close=) I'll keep you and Iain in my prayers!
